The analysis of safety Road Safety Inspection (RSI) applied to existing and in exercise works, involves an assessment repeated at regular temporary intervals of the security conditions, in order to maintain appropriate security standards.

Objectives:

The analysis assesses the consistency of the roadside environment as a whole, and also to correct situations that despite not having given rise to a concentration of accidents statistically significant, constitute unacceptable danger factors to be removed or mitigated.

Benefits:

The benefits analysis are found in the following five actions:

• alert the user of situations other than usual or not corresponding to standards;
• inform the user about the conditions that will meet;
• guide the user through unusual solutions;
• accompany the user as he pass through areas of conflict;
• forgive the wrong behavior of the user.

Analysis Process:

To carry out a Safety Inspection Analysis, analysis group can make use of checklists, which are reported in a series of questions relating to factors that directly and / or indirectly can cause accidents.

These lists, according to different themes to be addressed and according to the stage of verification in action, are characterized by an adequate level of detail related to the objectives of each phase.
